What we collect
- Enquiry forms (Brand/Agency, Creator, In The Net): your name, email, company, role, website or social handles, the details you give about your project, budget, timeline and platforms, and how you heard about us. Creator enquiries also include your social media handles, content categories, representation status and the information you share about yourself.
- Emails you send us directly.
- Analytics (only if you accept cookies): information about your device, browser, approximate location and how you use the site, collected by Google Analytics.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting and font providers process to deliver the site.
Please don't send us special category data (for example health information) through the forms.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- Responding to enquiries, assessing potential brand partnerships and talent representation, and following up: legitimate interests (running and growing our business), or steps before entering into a contract at your request.
- Managing ongoing client and talent relationships: contract, or legitimate interests.
- Website analytics: consent. You can withdraw it at any time via "Cookie settings".
- Keeping the site secure and working: legitimate interests.
- Meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations: legal obligation.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: website hosting (Lovable), email delivery for our forms (Resend), email and business software (Google Workspace), Google Analytics (only with consent), Google Fonts, and our CRM and project management tools. If you're a creator we represent, or a brand we work with, we'll share relevant details with the other party to a campaign as part of arranging the work. We may also share data with professional advisers or when required by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based in, or process data in, the US and other countries outside the UK. Where this happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum to keep your data protected.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years after our last contact. Client and talent records: for the length of the relationship plus 6 years for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics retention setting).
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing (including to processing based on legitimate interests), to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@theccagency.co.uk to use any of these rights. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
